Our Mission:

WeRQ Together is an emerging queer community initiative based in Portland, Oregon. Right now, we’re focused on curating resources and building relationships with local organizers, nonprofits, and queer creatives.

Our Vision:

As we grow, WeRQ Together aims to become a hub for queer creatives, community organizers, and nonprofits—offering them the resources and opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build sustainable support systems.

We are QUEER & TRANS. 🏳️‍⚧️

We WeRQ Together in Portland, Oregon.

WeRQ Together started as a mutual aid, community-driven resource map curating public info to connect Queer & Trans folks to safe, inclusive spaces, resources, and businesses in the Portland area. All resources are based on publicly available data, like websites or social media, and we don’t share personal info.
We advocate for INTERSECTIONALITY.
We center trans, BIPOC, disabled, and neurodivergent voices, ensuring that our future programs and spaces reflect the full diversity of our community.
We believe in COLLABORATION.
Our goal is to work alongside existing organizations and creatives, providing mutual aid through shared resources and partnerships.
We're committed to SUSTAINABILITY.
Building long-term, sustainable support systems that empower local queer & trans communities to thrive.

Where Creativity & Resources Meet.

When creativity and resources come together, something transformative happens.
Creativity as Survival & Innovation.
For many queer and trans individuals, creativity isn’t just a form of expression—it’s a form of survival, resistance, and innovation. It’s how we reclaim space, build community, and imagine new futures. But creativity alone can only go so far without access to the right resources.
Resources as Empowerment.
Whether they’re tools, spaces, funding, or connections—resources are often distributed in tradtional ways that overlook the evolving needs of our communities. We hope to facilitate access to resources while remaining flexible, supportive, and responsive to the diverse needs of queer creatives, organizers, and individuals. Our goal is to meet the community where they're at. With a deep understanding of the challenges we all face, we can be ready to provide practical support, foster long-term growth, and address unique barriers.
